  • Wendake Nation Huronne-Wendat 

    Wendake est la seule communauté au Canada où l’on retrouve la Nation Wendat. Depuis des temps immémoriaux, les Wendat ont occupé l’estuaire et la vallée du Saint-Laurent, notre majestueuse Grande Rivière, jusqu’à la région des Grands Lacs.

  • Secrétariat Migmawei Mawiomi 

    Au secrétariat Mi’gmawei Mawio’mi, notre objectif est d’unir, de valoriser et de faire reconnaître les droits des Mi’gmaw. Au sein du secrétariat se trouve le Mi’gmawei Mawio’mi (MM), une alliance de trois communautés Mi’gmaw résilientes – Gesgapegiag, Gespeg et Listuguj. Notre mission collective consiste à renforcer notre identité en tant que nation.

  • Mi’gmaq community of Gesgapegiag 

    Most of Gesgapegiag’s members reside on land set aside by the federal Government through the legislation of Lower Canada in 1853. Although no title was found in support of such an occupation, the Supreme Court, in Guerin vs The Queen (1984), confirms and defines the concept of ancestral rights.

  • Kebaowek First Nation

    The Band Council of Kebaowek First Nation – Kipawa ensures effective local governance and administration under the leadership of our Chief and Council. Proudly representing our community, our Council is an integral part of the broader Anishnabeg Algonquin Nation with a rich heritage and strong traditional values.

  • Cri Nation of Waskaganish

    Today Waskaganish is a growing, vibrant community with an on-reserve population of approximately 2300 people.

  • Cree Nation of Nemaska

    Together, the Cree Nation of Nemaska builds a successful community through INNOVATIVE services and programs that honour Eeyou iitun (Cree Way of Life) to preserve and strengthen Eenou Pimaatisiiun (the welfare) for its members.

    The mission of the Cree Nation of Chisasibi is to serve its residents by providing a safe, secure and healthy environment while protecting and preserving our Eeyou rights, customs and traditions. It is also to facilitate and promote the growth and well-being of the community by maintaining the highest standards, values and principles.
